Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex will be visiting Jersey and Guernsey on Saturday 9 May to join in the arrangements to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Liberation, the Lieutenant-Governor, General Sir John McColl has announced.
During her visit, Sophie, The Countess of Wessex will be attending the formal events at People’s Park where it is hoped that many Islanders from across the community will be present to take part in the celebrations with her.
